Still want calls or texts on your normal line? Just switch off its data roaming, not the line itself, so your carrier can't sting you for data. Don't need calls or texts at all while you're away? Turn that line's roaming off completely instead.

Why isn't the Brunei eSIM unlimited?

Because "unlimited" usually isn't. Plenty of eSIMs advertise unlimited data, then quietly throttle your speed once you cross a hidden fair-use limit buried in the fine print. We'd rather give you an honest GB number than one that sounds bigger and slows down exactly when you need it - full network speed for every gigabyte, no hidden cap, no slowdown.

My Brunei trip's running longer than my plan - can I extend it?

Yes - top up before your current plan's window ends and you're not just adding data, you're adding time. Each top-up pack comes with its own validity (its own number of days) on top of its own data, so it extends how long you're connected on the same eSIM rather than just topping up the GB. The one catch is timing: it has to happen before your existing plan expires, since an already-expired eSIM can't be topped up (see above) - so if you know a trip's likely to run long, top up a few days before your plan's window is due to end rather than waiting until the last moment.

Can I top up an eSIM that's already expired?

No - once an eSIM's validity window has ended, it can't be topped up any more. Buy a fresh eSIM for the same destination to keep going.

Do unused days roll over?

No. Each plan runs out at the end of its window, so if you're not sure how much you need, start small and buy again.
